Story of Wiplawa….
Wiplawa was initially formed as a theatre company in 1986 by Mr. Santosh Gujrathi. Many theatrical plays produced by Wiplawa were acclaimed by many awards, state wide.
In 2016, when the idea of diversification in the entertainment business clicked his mind, it became Wiplawa Entertainment LLP. The idea behind this was to create a content which can satisfy the audience through theatrical plays, TV Serials and films. And so started the team building activity in Wiplawa to become name parallel to quality entertainment.

Mr. Santosh Gujrathi
Managing Director
An enginner by profession, he started his first business venture in 1996. With 23 years of experience, he has large enough asset base with stable financial prospects and expertise in creating and leading professionals from every field. Though an engineer by education, he has worked and pursued experimental theatre since his school days. With a great understanding of human psyche, he crafts result driven strategies.
Mr. Manoj Patil
Executive DirectorAn engineer by education, Manoj resides in Dubai since last 20 years. He is responsible for creative events and their management. He has successfully launched many movies, theatrical dramas and events in UAE. The credit of launching first ever MIFTA (Marathi International Film and Theatre Awards) in UAE goes to him.
Mr. Mandar Deshpande
Creative head
A dynamic personality from theatre field, Mandar is not only a theatre actor and director but a teacher also. A Gold medallist in Dramatics from Savitribai Phule Pune University’s Lalit Kala Kendra, Mandar is working as a theatre practitioner since 12 years. He has also received prestigious Junior Research fellowship from University Grants Commission (UGC). He has directed many plays and participated in various National Theatre festivals in India and is associated with films like Balgandharva, Adgula Madgula, Are Awaj Konacha, and Lathe Joshi. He has worked as an executive producer and creative head for television.
